Add to your positive digital footprint: become an editor of a wikipedia page.

Most of the articles on this blog focus on "what steps could we take to make portfolios part of the path to graduation"?

This post gives an example of what a student might display as part of their portfolios.

"I'm a WikiPedia Editor." or contributor.

Click here about "How to Edit a Page in Wikipedia."

Key points:
Editing most Wikipedia pages is easy. Wikipedia uses two methods of editing: classic editing through wiki markup (wikitext) and through a newer VisualEditor (VE).
To practice editing, go to the sandbox, and click the "Edit" tab. An editing window that contains the text for that page will be displayed. Type in something, or make changes to the text you'll find there. Then click the Publish changes button and see what the result looks like.

There are 5 million articles in Wikipedia.

For example
I found the following sentence in an article.

In 1892, facing financial problems, Rebouças went to Luanda and after that, Funchal, in Madeira. In 1898 his body was found at the shoreline.[clarification needed] He supposedly committed suicide.

Here's the information that I found in another website

Greatly affected by exile and in a precarious state of health, he died on 9 May 1898. His body was retrieved from the base of an approximately 60-metre-high cliff near the hotel where he lived.
